  • sRGB problem

I have a problem when saving out my renderings in either gamma 2,2 or 1,0 in 16-bit TIF's.

When i open the images in Photoshop and apply exposure>gamma 2,2 to the 1,0 rendering, shouldn't those two images be exactly the same?

I use the vrayframebuffer and apply sRGB...

The contrast is slightly different. It shows when working with colors, see red in attachment.

I believe the upper image is the correct image. My theory is that sRGB button in the framebuffer applies a curve where photoshop does it different? help

sRGB is not the same as gamma 2.2, it's close but there are some small color differences.
