There is probably some trick that we have to do on our side to get it working; will look into it.

Looking forward to it, since this would be really helpful during light setup in the viewport.

As it turned out, it is not currently possible for 3rd party exposure control plugins to work properly with Nitrous, so I'm afraid there is nothing we can do about this for the moment. Hopefully the necessary APIs will be added for a future 3ds Max version.

Thanks for the Info even if it is Not the One i hoped to hear. As a workaround i continue using the mrExposure Control during viewport setup. Turned out to work Fine expect the fact that i have to turn it of during Rendering.

          Best regards

This is being discussed here: http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthre...86#post7019086

Some conflicting information between these two threads...

Yes, I saw the thread; I'm still puzzled as to what is actually being argued there Indeed we do have some more work on the various textures and materials to port them to Nitrous; VRaySky is already done and we are working on VRayHDRI as well. There were other related material issues that we have fixed too. However there is nothing we can do about the exposure control. For the moment, the Nitrous viewport is hard-coded to recognize only the standard 3ds Max exposure control plugins.

I dont know if its possible as i am not so familiar with coding, scripting etc, but maybe its somehow possible to wrap some kind of script around mrExposure Control to abuse it for now.

We can certainly make V-Ray recognize some parameters from the mr exposure; I've thought about it, but we'll see. Another option that you can probably do is to wire the parameters of the physical camera to the parameters of a mr exposure control.
