  • Noise stays consistant in the animation

My colleague has a problem with an animation. It's a short camera pan over a washing machine, and the noise on the aluminium parts stays exactly the same as the camera pans. It looks like someone has put a noise layer above everything in after effects.. very strange. Anyone know why this is happening?

Turn off the "Time independent" option in the V-Ray DMC settings dialog, and the noise should change from frame to frame.

    Best regards,

In the Settings Tab of Vray there is a Checkbox called Time independent in the DMC Sampler rollout. If this is turned ON the sampling pattern will stay the same from frame to frame. If it's turned OFF the sampling pattern will be recalculated each frame.
      He should try this.
