  • bad looking velocity pass when saved as 32 bit tif. ON A Tight DEADLINE!!!!!

    Hi,

I have a big problem. I rendered out my entire 4 minute animation and saved all my passes from framebuffer as separate 32-bit tiffs. In framebuffer everything looks ok but when i open up my velocity pass in nuke or photoshop i get very weird results. I re-rendered some frames in to an multi-layer exr. Now when i check the the velocity channel it looks like it is supposed to, and the vectorblur works like a charm.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

    always render in exr's...
maybe re-render your scene with default material without any gi or lights, just to save out the exr velocity channel ?
