  • Upgraded to Win7 -problems

    Hi all

I just upgraded my main machine to Windows 7 (I7 CPU) and render nodes render empty buckets.

(If I use a map which is on the nodes in a fixed folder than all is good.)

I created a UNC path for my textures folder and also forced the firewall to recognize Vray as legitimate.

    I ran out of ideas.

    Can anyone suggest ?

Nodes do not see my \\server\folder - this is the problem.
(at least not at render time)

Actully this is the problem since I don't know why they do not recognize a UNC path.

How do you check to see if they see it (other than rendering it) ???

              SOLVED
Did what you said earlier - I checked why I couldn;t access the PC form the slave and then tweaked all sortso things to make it accessible
(too many for me to remember)
