  • Weird looking result when using networked iradiance map.

    Hi!

I have searched the forums but have not been able to find a solution to my problem, so maybe you guys can help me. I am rendering a "fly-through" over o forest made out of a simple p-flow system and billboard trees. I have calculated the Iradiance map and render the rest on my small farm. it renders fine locally, however my two slaves render a strange looking image, at first I thought it might be that the slaves dont find the irradiance map, but I get no error message and the network path is working. I have included a link to a locally rendered image and a image rendered on the farm.
    Thanks!

It looks more like the proxies are missing...

      Hi again!

Thanks for your speedy answer! I dont use any proxies only a p-flow system with facing particles and the ground as emitter, the trees are simple billboards. I will do some tests with a simpler scene today.
      Thanks!

Do the slave machines detect the Bitmaps for the billboards? I always have UNC activated for my asset management, usually helps things out.

Yes they detect the bitmaps for the billboards.
