  • licensing issue

I just had some work done on my license server machine, and also moved my office so a few things have been shuffled around and now I'm having a problem with my other machines seeing the Vray license server. The server is running okay, and the nodes work fine for DR launched locally, but I'm trying to use another machine as a backburner server and it can't find the license.

I tried "http://localhost:30304" and while that always worked it now says cannot connect so I cannot even access the license server locally. It's clearly running though, as I can render locally np.

Firewall is off right now, and the port for 30304 is open for sure. It all was working fine previously, not sure what to try now?

    Any guidance?

    Thanks!

Got the license server back up and running by reinstalling Vray. However, new issue: DR buckets coming back dark when using output gamma of 2.2 instead of 1.0 (which is my norm, but this job is not LWF).

I know this issue has come up before on the forum but I wasn't having any luck finding solutions. I have 5 nodes and my workstation rendering. 3 nodes are on Vista 64 and two are XP 64. The XP machines are rendering fine from what I can tell, but the 3 Vista machines appear to be returning 1.0 gamma buckets no matter what I do. Any idea how to fix that one?
