I just switched to Max 2012 and Vray 2.0 and am doing my first project with it.
Has anybody experienced that when you render something with the Vray frame buffer and then you close it that it hangs for a couple seconds? And then after it closes it takes a couple seconds after that until I can do anything in the viewport or controls. I tested the regular max frame buffer and had no such lags. Also the same thing happens when you have the Vray log window open and then close it.
If I just leave the vfb window up but then minimize it, I still seem to run into problems at times if I restore the window, or do things like zoom in and out of the window. When you are doing lots of test renders the extra time waiting really starts to add up.
I would just use the max fb but since I am using linear workflow the gamma only displays properly in the vfb.
On Windows 7 64bit. Radeon HD 5700 series with the latest driver. SP2 installed on Max
