  • How To convert Photometric Light into Vray IES light

    Hello,
I do have a scene with plenty of photometric light but None of them are visible and they can't be turn visible unless I change from point to a sphere (in Shape/Area shadow).
Doing so extend the render time dramatically, so I'm looking for a solution to convert such target light with photometric web distribution into a Vray IES light.

By the way All light are an Assembly (fixture + light).

    Thanks

Well, the VRayIES lights are not visible either, so how will this solve the problem?

    Best regards,

"Point" is the key The IES profiles describe the light distribution as though it comes from a single point of space. The fact that you can specify a shape for them in many renderers is a convenient cheat. With that said, we do plan to do some more work on this.

I notice that IES light takes a lot longer than Vray Light. Really a lot!

Is it normal or it's a bug on 2.2?
          Thanks

Do you have a scene for this?
