If I apply a colour correction with the VFB and save out the image via the VFB the correction is burned into the image. How ever if I pre determine the render output via 3ds Max the colour correction doesn't get applied. This also happens with backburner. Is there a way to make it stay?

Ah I figured it out I think. If you use the render output in 3ds Max then the colour correction is not saved. How ever if you disable the 3ds Max render output and enable split render channels in the frame buffer and save the RGB it does save the colour correction. It doesn't seem to work with 3ds Max output, is it supposed to?

Hi,
I have another issue. On the corrections control window I see an option to adjust exposure at the very top. If I move this slider nothing happens. There is also another slider below, which again does nothing. The oly settings that actually does anything is the curves correction. Am I missing something here?

You can read more about the rendering intent here: http://www.color.org/iccprofile.xalter and I think we actually have to remove the black point compensation as it's only used when printing.
