  • LC flicker, moving objects.

    So, this problem again.

    I use Brute force and Light cache. It's an animation with some moving objects. Light cache is set to singel frame with use camera path On. World scale, 1000 subdivs, glossy rays off and direct light off. It flickers ALOT.

    When rendering an animation with moving objects using Light cache, I you have to pre-render it with fly-through mode? Or what am I doing wrong?

    hello, is this a large scene ?

    I suggest screen mode in this case. World mode is best used in interior shoots AND flythrough mode.
    i suggest (with 1000 subdivs) a scale at 0.01, with prefilter around 50, filter 5
    if problem stills exists, increase scale a bit (0.015 or 0.02).

      Can you post a few frames? Also, what is the sample size set to? 1000 subdivs may be insufficient for interiors or scenes with lots of bounced light.

      Best regards,

        @Subburb
        It's not a large interior scene.

        @vlado

        I hope this helps:

        Sample size was set to 5mm.

        I will try screen mode and see what happens.
