Hello, I got a problem, I don't know if I'm going something wrong, or if it's a bug.
I'm using max 2011 64 and vray 2.20.03.
I'm working on a window glass.
It's a simple box converted to poly, I want different materials on both side but something strange with refraction append. So I did some testing with the same material to understand if it was related to the fact that the both materials were different:
one side is id 1 and the other id 2.
In my multi/sub objet on id 1 I got a glass material with 1.2 in ior, refraction white, affect shadows, falloff in reflection, fog color green at 1 (254 255 254).
If I copy in instance this material in the Id2 of the Sub/object material, it's rendering normaly (no distortion, fog is slight it's ok).
I I break the instance of the material "making unique" without changing any parameter of any of the materials, and hit render, refraction goes very strong distorting everything and the fog go crazy (supergreeen).
I don't understand, they are the same materials, is it a bug?
