  • VrayEnvironmentFog and Matte Objects

Is there any way to make for not affect matte objects? Would it be possible to add a check box either to the Vray Properties or the Fog Rollout to allow for this?

In the regular Object properties of objects (not the V-Ray ones), there is an option, "Apply atmospherics". Turn it off to get what you need.

    Best regards,

Hi, I have run into the same problem in Maya. Is there a way around this?

Image_01: Ball matted out from the env, fog off.
Image_02: Ball matted out from the env, fog on

Note: Affect background via fog properties, is off for both
