  • Computing Light Cache and IR MAP 2% CPU FULL of ram

    Hi All!

I'm rendering a big scene, with tons of details of vegetations and other elements, And i've placed a lot of camera in it, and there is ONE cam for an aerian view which is problematic...
My Light cache computing take more time than it does on a bi-Xeon 5640 with 24 Go of ram... the light cache consume near 100% of my ram but i've limited it to 18 go in the memory limit... And it take only 2% of my CPU frequency... For the other cam (near the subject, there is'nt any problems, each frame rendered in less than 20 min... (in draft presets)

To resolve that problems i've merged Xref, Containers... But there isn't any changing in it...

I really hope there is a way to use 100% of my CPU and get faster results...

    thx!
    i ll be back

The last version i've download on your site the 20 dec 2011... the istallation is called 22002 but on installation it's called 22003, i'm downloading now the actual version to compare bit by bit the difference, but i'm pretty sure there isn't...

EDIT : And... there is... 4 mo !!!
I haven't download anything news from the 20 december... Does it was a problem from that version?

Thx Vlado, I'll install that new version in a few hours... And I hope it's solved...
What are the hot fix about it on that version?
