splotchy reflections

This is a scene for making a short a animation. But first of all I want to get a clean rendering and since a few days I tried with various settings to get this frame with no splotchy on the reflection. No succes at all. The splotches occur only at the top of the lamp. With higher settings the splotches are smaller but more of them. I tried BF but the result was similar to detail enhancement. Hopefully you could give me some advices to solve this problem. Thank you very much

try switching off "use light cache for glossy rays"

on a side note, what is your material glossy subdivs settings?

Unfortunately not. I rendered it without materials and without glossy rays in LC. The glossy subdiv was 16 and increased up to 32 here. But there is no progress.

Can you upload some render elements, like V-Ray Reflection, Glossiness, Total Lighting, Specular and Global Illumination.
Also what are the settings you are using in the color mapping section?

Hello,
The splotches on the lamp are only visible in the GI render elements. This can be fixed using a value "0,001" for "Secondary rays bias" option.
