Hi There,
I think I found a little bug that really had me stumped for a bit - so I thought I'd report it here to see if anyone else can recreate the problem / confirm it's a bug.
1 - Create a VRayLight in your scene.
2 - Select Dome as the light type, specify an VrayHDRI texture in the texture slot, and choose whatever HDRI image you want.
3 - Now duplicate and move that light and change it's type to a Sphere light.
The sphere light grays out the Texture area as it should (but notice that the Use Texture checkbox is still checked).
When you hit render the new sphere light doesn't emit any light into your scene - It just appears as a black sphere.
The only way to make it work is to switch it back to a dome light, uncheck the Use Texture checkbox, then switch it back to a sphere light.
This only occurs with the production renderer - VRayRT seems to work as it should.
Attached is an example image showing what I mean if there's any confusion.
I'm on Max 2012 64bit / Vray 2.20.03 / Windows 7 Ultimate
Thanks!
