  • VRayLights are visible to VRayDirt

I usually render out an AO-pass by using the VRayExtraTex element with a VRayDirt map in it. Now I've noticed that VRayLights that intersect with objects (in my case the ground plane) are generating "dirt" as well. Since they are "lights" as opposed to "geometry", I can't exclude them in the render element settings or the VRayDirt map settings. Is there a work around for this, except for rendering the AO separately?

If the lights are invisible to the camera, then turning on the "Work with transparency" option in VRayDirt will fix it.

    Best regards,
    Vlado
I only act like I know everything, Rogers.
