DR nodes going Idle after a couple frames

Yesterday, I thought I had solved the problem of my DR nodes dropping out. It appeared that rebooting them fixed it. Today, however, they are back to misbehaving.

By now there must be a list of items which can cause this to happen. It would be very helpful if one could be posted as a 'Sticky' item in the forums.

In the meantime. Can someone point me to such a list if it exists? I'm going crazy over here.

max 2012, vray 2.20.03
rendering every 30 frames of 720 (25 frames).
animated camera only.
spawner is running as a service.
File consist of multiple xrefed scenes.
resolution is 1920x1080
render slaves will render for the first 2,3 or so frames then go idle.

and everyting is fine if you run spawner manually instead of a service?

I have not tried that. But I can.
Is running it as a service a known issue?

Starting it manually will show if it's stable or the icon appears and then dispersers again.
Can you send an e-mail with more details about the issue and the vraylog file from the server and the problematic nodes to support@chaosgroup.com

I have emailed some info. Please let me know if there is anything else that would help you to solve this.

I believe the icon remained on the entire time.
