  • Override Exclude - Selection Set bug

    Hi,

When selecting the Selection set "worm" (main building) from 3ds max evertything is ok, when selecting from Vray to exclude from the material override (so i can see all the scene white except the main building) the selection set is not workinf ok, since it drags all the "3dsolid" named objects, instead of only my "worm", will find a way to rename all the objects that compound the worm but this is not normal, is it?

    Hello peprgb,

Could you please attach a sample scene? We would like to test it in our environment.

This happens in a simple scene where you have for example 4 boxes, all with the same name "box", you create a Selection set selecting two of them (or 3, 1...) then in Override exclude dialogue you choose the selection set and ALL the boxes are selected, not only the 2 of previously created selection set.

I changed the names to the objects of the selection set and works fine.

This is actually 3DSMax bug - it works the same way if we try to exclude objects from standard 3DSMax light for example!
