  • Compositing elements with refraction

    Hi,
I have a problem when trying to relight a scene in comp using the render elements
The problem is that all the objects behind any glass material come out black in the diffuse element and solid in the rawlight element.
I know that I can use the refraction elements to work around this but I still don't have any light information behind the glass.
    Was I clear enough?
    Am I being thick?
    Can any one help.

    Kind regards

    David

    Hi,
Do you use "Affect all channels" option for your material refraction?
If you use it, the diffuse and raw lighting elements will be affected.
But note that if your material has a strong reflection, the refraction will be not so clear within those render elements.
