  • No more ActiveShade Renderer !

    Hello,

I am facing a very annoying problem: usually, when I hold a mouse left click on the little pointing down arrow near the "Render" button on the bottom of the "Render Setup" Dialog box (F10), there comes a drop-down menu giving me the choice of the render I want to work with: Production renderer, draft renderer or ActiveShade renderer.
Since a couple of days, holding a left click on this arrow doesn't show up any drop-down menu, so I can't choose to work with VRay RT anymore !
I uninstalled 3ds max Design 2013 x64, I installed it again, I uninstalled VRay (2.30.01), I installed it again but ... the problem remains.

Please help me: I just can't live without VRay RT

    Thank you,
    BOKEH Studio

        Main toolbar solved it

Searching in the 3dsmax help, I found a workaround: I didn't pay attention close enough to the main toolbar, there is a button (this one works, thank you Autodesk !) that lets you choose between "Production", "Render Iterative" and "ActiveShade" ... so it solved my problem, but, this bug remains in the Render panel and it's quite strange ...

Probably you need to delete some 3ds Max .ini file or UI file somewhere... unfortunately I don't know which one.

            Best regards,
