upgrading vray

Hi all,

Its been a very long time but Im getting back into it.
I bought a licensed dongle way back in 2008 and I am getting 3dsmax 2013 and wondering if the dongle will upgrade (i think this was possible back then) I dont know about now.

Is there some information I can go to get some help?

It doesn't matter what copy of max you're working with, a vray license is a vray license. If you bought a license of vray 1.5, you'll always have a license that will work with any version of max, once they bring out a proper build of 1.5. With versions before 2.0 though, they're slower to release builds as there's a lot of new things in the versions of max that mean changes have to be made to get 1.5 to work. Version 2.x of vray will always come out sooner than 1.x.
