Time dependent check box not working

Hey guys am getting some static noise and was wondering if in order for the time dependent to work it needs to be fully adaptive?

you actually need to uncheck it I believe (something has changed in a certain vray build and it remained this way ever since).

It works fine for me, but perhaps the noise is due to something else?

yea i thought it was weird but its not really an issues since by the time i get done with the rendering theres barely noise but i notices it when i was doing a low quality render, but ill try it unchecked next time. Thanks
