  • Weird VRay2SidedMtl issue

Even though I've gotten through the project I thought I should bring this to your attention.

I have a simple animation. It's just a cube doing a linear 360° turn over 60 frames. It has a VRay2SidedMtl on it, and a VRay Light inside to give it an animated glow. It's viewed from a camera that is looking down on at at 60°.

For some reason the material will not render on frames 15 and 45. I was able to get around the problem by adding rotation keys on those frames that were just 0.001° off from where it is on those frames.

Shall I send you the file, or is this an issue you're aware of?

The issue is with the rotation of your light. If the sphere light does not rotate, it renders correctly. However I still think its a problem, will pass it on to the right people

Ah! I forgot that I had that linked to the cube (not that it really needed to be).
