I have Max 2012 64bit and Vray 1.5 on my computer using Win XP pro 64 bit. I've added a new drive with Win 7 64 bit and I'm installing all my apps there. I have installed Max 2012 and moved the license. I have installed Vray and the Wibu drivers.
At the bottom in the system tray I can see an icon that says the "WibuKey Network server is running." The Vray license server seems to be running, if I click on it to launch it I get a message "Can not start VRLService application due to another instance running". Plus I can see it in the processes section of the task manager.
The problem is that when I start Max and go to the render setup dialog - Vray is not an available choice for me to select in the renderer preset drop down. So I cannot choose vray as the renderer.
I've likely done something wrong or perhaps need to transfer the vray license somehow?. Any help with getting this sorted out will be much appreciated.
