hy guys!
im having some troubles making milky water like in this example foto
my way to get a similar effect is the vrayfastsss2 material with raytraced single scatter mode
to tint the water i use the sss-color slot
this works well when the color is dark, but if i change it to the light gray-green water i need even the very shallow water gets a very strong tint.
the scatter color in these previews is white
enlarging the scatter radius makes the water more transparent, but the shallows stay tinted.
any idea to get this to look right?
is the fastsss2 the right material for this?
thanks
rene
