Long rendertimes on renderfarm with irradiance Mode Animation

Hello,
we are rendering a very complex scene with Irradiance Map in Animation Mode.
The scene has a rendertime at local machines of about 25minutes.
In the farm we get rendertimes 8hours for the same frame.

Any ideas to solve this ??

if it has proxies, it may be the reason. If the network is not fast enough on the farm the large number of proxies will dramatically slow down the rendering. One quick solution is to copy everything from that scene to something like c:\temp and repath it to every slave's local drives. You could even try this for one network machine and see if that changes anything.
