  • get rid of "specular"

    Hello,

for the first time I'm stack with a strange "specular" kind of noise all over my scene.
It is all over the scene, on most of the material, wood, stainles steel...
The glossiness if set to 1 on wood but still there is this strange noise all over exept on the shadow part (no direct light or no reflection light).
I puch the render setup to the max...result is the same.

It is an interior scene with one vraysun, Vray plane skylight portal simple on each windows, one HDRI in environement sot and another HDRI in the GI reflection.

Thanks for advcice.Click image for larger version

Are you sure it's in the specular channel? If you add both the specular and reflection render elements, which one is the noise part of?

    Best regards,
    Vlado

I disable the HDRI in the environement slot and replace it by a vraysky instead. So the "noise" went away, if it was noise of course. I refer to "specular" because it was "white noise".

Would it be possible to attach or send us an example scene with that issue to: support@chaosgroup.com

Looks strange, can you break it a part in render layers? See which render layers cause the issue.
