  • white balance - object depended

long time I have posted something, I think it's because vray gets more perfect...

but one thing is bother me every day...
the white balance in vraycam, so far it's working as excepted, but is there a way to disable it on environment maps? because if you take a map as background the white balance is still applied. I have also noticed the white balance is not applied on hdri maps assigned on domelights, that's right, but not consequent at all.
the best thing would be to disable the white balance object based and disable it globally on environment maps.

    thanks and best regards

You can try turning off the "affect background" option in the color mapping section, but that only affects parts of the environment that are directly visible, and won't have an effect if they are visible through reflections/refractions.

You can also map you background to a geometric object through a VRayLightMtl material, and turn on its "compensate camera exposure" option.
