  • License dropping when using DR

    Hi there,

    We are experiencing issues here with our licenses.
    It's not every time, but often (about 5 times a day), when we spawn with the DR, our Vray License is dropping and we have to take the dongle in and out to be able to use Vray again.

    The server is on Win XP Pro SP2.

    Any ideas?

    Can you tell me, at that moment of time, what do you get from the V-Ray license server status page?

      Hi Vlado.

      Well the thing is that the License server 2.0 is taking maybe 2 minutes to access the page as usually it's done straight away.
      After that it says : Default access: DENY

      I send you some print screen on your mail as I don't know how confidential this license numbers are.

        Hello there,

        This delay is very odd , could you please check if you have any firewall on your machine - windows firewall , or firewall which is a part of anti-virus software. They could block the connection to the dongle.
        About "Default access: DENY" - where did you get this message ? If it is on the end of the status page after all the licenses and before the Dongle serial number - it is not an issue since this is a part of the template of status-page.
