I have a lot of colour bleed on the ceiling of a swimming pool that is caused by the water. I have tried placing the water material in an override material with GI set to white and it doesn't do anything. Also tried lowering the generate GI via a material wrapper, this again does nothing. Then tried lowering the generate GI via V-Ray properties and this does nothing unless it is set to 0, then my ceiling is really dark. Don't know what else to try? Or why the override material isn't even working.

I had a multisub object material and it didn't like it when trying to add an override material. It got a bit confusing in the slate material editor so switched back to the trusty basic one and fixed it.
