  • Bright areas on EXR frames !

    Hi all

I am currently working on a short animation with VRay. After having rendered 60 frames as 32bits exr with 3dsmax, I import them in After Effects and, when I render the composition, some strange bright areas pop up on 4 frames.
These bright spots do not appear when opening these frames in Photoshop ! So it seems like they are added by After Effects ... See the screenshot.

Anybody for helping me please ? I really don't know what to do to fix this

    Thanks

If you open the frame in 3ds Max itself (Rendering > View image) do you see the same?

    Best regards,
    Vlado

When viewed in 3dsmax (Rendering > View image), bright spots don't appear.

Does anybody know a good After Effects Support Forum to help me solve my problem ?

Sorry I made a mistake: bright spots ARE on the frames. So I clearly understand the problem now: I used low Irr. map / LC settings to have decent calculating and rendering times, but that's why here come these artefacts. I got rid of it in post prod with Photoshop as the issue comes only for 4 frames.

Anyway thank you for your support Vlado
