vray sun and active shade won't update

When I put a daylight system and a vray sun in my scene, the active shade window won't update materials or camera settings. However, it will update the sun position. If I switch back to a dome light with an hdri, it updates just fine. Very strange, any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

What Vray version are you using ?

We've done some tests with Max 2011 and Vray 2.30.01 - and it work correctly.
Is this happens on every scene you have - or on a particular one ?
Is there any difference if you are not using a DayLight System - just Vray Sun ?

I apologize, i've been out for a while. for some reason, it has resolved it's self. I was a couple of files, even new ones, but now everything seems to be ok. obviously something I was doing wrong, that is now ok. thanks for the response.
