NOISE problemos.

This has probably been covered many times here but I'm short on time and hope someone can help.
Noise seems to appear intermittently when rendering this scene, sometimes I render it and its fine sometimes not. What am I doing wrong?

It could be a number of things and to give u proper advice I think we either need to have ur scene or to see ur settings. There is no magic button that will clean up the noise. In this case it looks like its reflection glossiness sample noise but it could be a number of things.

Ok thanks. Would it happen if I rendered from a perspective viewport by mistake for example?
The thing is the above images were rendered back to back - no changes were made to the scene.
1 rendered on the farm, 1 on my workstation.

Umh thats very interesting. Is Vray version the same on farm and on workstation. Did u use standalone or Max to render?

looks to me like there could be texture missing, for example in the light or something like that...

Have you solved this issue ?
There is definitely something that is missing - the difference is not only in the amount of noise - the illumination in both image is different.
You can activate "check for missing maps" option in Vray settings - and Vray will inform you if something is missing.
