  • Vray Dome Light

My VRAY Dome Light stopped working. I j=have deleted, added it again, rebooted, tried several HDRI's. What would cause this?

Well, I guess I'll have to look. It's an exterior scene. I do know that the sun systems works, and so does the HDRI in the Environment slot of both VRAY and MAX.

Is it possible that somehow the global light level (in the 3ds Max Environment dialog) has changed?

        Best regards,

Is there a way to retain a visible dome light and have camera clipping? More often than not I only need the near clip. I suppose the work around is to place the hdri in the background slot.

Yes - set the same HDRI as environment should solve this issue.
