As the title say, I have one quite small object in the scene that has Hair and Fur, and the renderer hangs for hours whenever this piece is in the scene. (Converting it to geometry works, but looks awful..)
I've increased the Memory limit to 20G ( tried everything from 1G to 20G, on a machine that has 24G of ram)
I've tried a region render.. did went trough, but took hours for just a few pixels.
I've tried the VrayHairMtl also, with the simplify GI options
I have the Unloading geometry message, for long long long...
With loads of RAM allocated, it seems to go through the GI passes without hagning, but still jams at the rendering part.
I do not want to use VrayFur, as the model is already made with Hair and Fur, and works well in a smaller scene.
So the question here; how do we get Hair and Fur to render, like, in less than a day..
