Can't authorize over internet. Did something change with the licensing in 2.4?

I was authorizing vray over the internet so I could work at home (vray dongle is at office). It was working just fine for months -- but once I installed 2.4, I cannot get a license anymore.

Did something change in the licensing configuration?

No, there are no changes in the licensing whatsoever.

What kind of error message do you get?

I don't get an error message per se. It just says "Vray can't get a license" or whatever in the Render dialog. It was working perfectly for many months and stopped behaving after I put 2.4 on all machines. Maybe there's some other change I made around the same time -- but I honestly can't think of one.

There should be a number in brackets next to the error, like (-200) or (-197) or something like that. What's that number?

Nevermind I got it. My auto-starts got changed somehow and that resulted in the license server not running at boot-up. I didn't realize it because I have a second dongle in the office which was acting as an alternate and authorizing my main machine. Sorry to bother you.
