  • VRayDirt and tranparency

I created a dirt pass with VRayExtraTex and dirt material.

I checked "work with transparency" in my dirt material and I checked "affect shadow" in my glass material, but in the occlusion pass the glass is opaque.

Its best to "exclude" any glass from the VRayextratex render element.

As jacksc02 said its best to "exclude" any glass objects from the dirt if you don't want to see them in the AO pass or hide them.
The "work with transparency" option will only disable transparent objects from occluding the other geometry.

exclude doesn't seem to work. I get a black box from where my object is.

In this case you need to hide the glass objects.

yes. this is what I have to do, which kind of defeats the pass.
