The bug is not yet fixed

I use 2011x64 2.30.01 = all fine
I use 2011x64 2.40.03 = proxys missing
I use 2013x64 2.40.03 = proxys missing

I also have an email You can send the scene to vlado@chaosgroup.com - I'm somewhat doubtful that it's the same issue, but let me look at the scene too.

The issue in your scene is that proxies do not specify a file extension; in 2.30 we only supported .vrmesh files, but now we have .vrmesh and .abc so if the extension is missing, it's not quite clear what to do.

If you think it's important, we will release a patch for this (i.e. add .vrmesh extension if none is specified), but it will still be some days before it gets to the web server.

thx - thats something i didnt consider
if you have nothing better to do (lol) you can do a fix and place it online - otherwise i stay at vray 2.3 untill september

We also had the same issue with our proxies after updating to 2.4. We spent more than half the day trying to figure out where the proxies went. Please send the patch as soon as possible, thanks.
