Seems to be a bug or something here but if I have the IRmap and LCache set to Don't Delete, Auto Save & Switch to saved map, it periodically switches itself to From File as if a render has just completed. I think this appears to happen after file saving or sometimes when opening Material editor for example. Very random.
Max 2013 design 64 bit PU6, vray 2.40.03.
You might be able to repeat it by setting the above settings, then hitting Save. then open material editor. See it switches to From file.
Finding this very often happening because as a matter of habit I save before hitting render and it happens every time.
