      The preview of the irradiance map pass for DR from the render slaves is not very accurate (it's transmitted at somewhat lower precision to save some network bandwidth), so if the final render is fine, then all is ok.

        This is very interesting. I wish I'd known this earlier! I think if certain buckets are looking very different then you should assume there's a problem. But I guess in this case there is not. That said, it's curious that the buckets from the slave all look fine in terms of quality/accuracy but just darker.

          This happens to me occasionally as well. I've started to ignore it, but in the past I used to restart the slave workstation, which seemed to fix the issue.
