  • How to make VRay displacement edges visible?

    Hi everyone.

The VRay help says: "For objects displaced with V-Ray displacement, the VRayEdgesTex map shows the edges of the original faces, not the edges of the resulting sub-triangles."

But - is there a way to make these edges visible? To check the structure of the displaced mesh?

EDIT: DidnĀ“t find anything searching the forum...

    Thank you and kind regards.

    Sascha

For the moment this is not possible.
What exactly do you want to achieve?

Id second a vote for this. Sometimes I just want to analyze what displacement is doing. I think MR has an option to randomly color the faces post displacement so you can visualize the result. Id love it if you could alternatively see the edges.

      For example...
