visible to camera toggle does not function ?

Hello,

does the visible to camera toggle in the object properties fonctions in vray ? (latest vray for max2013 in max2014)

i have an object which i want to be invisible to the camera, but should cast shadows... it doesn't work

edit : sorry, it works. But as the object i want to be invisible was "inside" a transparent object, and as the visible in reflection/refraction toggle was on, it was rendered.

Well this is correct. In max terms its just object visibility but in render terms its separated out into ray type visibility, primary ray (ray from camera till it hits first surface normal) secondary ray (reflection, refraction, gi etc).
