  • Frame Buffer doesn't stay maximized

Hello friends, I'm rendering HD (1920x1080) and I have the frame buffer maximized on my right monitor. When vray starts rendering it 'restores down' the window so I have to maximize it again. This happens every render and it's annoying.

Did I miss a setting somewhere? How do I get it to stop that? If anybody can advise, it would be most welcome. Thanks for your time.

****(on edit) OK never mind, thanks anyway. If I just drag the window to full size instead of maximizing the problem doesn't happen. Good enough, sorry for the disturbance.

This was reported a while back; I think we fixed it for future builds.

Hi Vlado, I have this same problem in the latest 2.50.01, is it only fixed in 3.0?

It might be only in 3.0; will see if we can port it to the 2.x builds.

        Best regards,

I get this in vray 3.00.06, if I have the viewport maximized and hit render it reverts back to its windowed size.

The feature is not implemented yet even in version 3.x

                it's really frustrating
for me the VFB will disappear behind max every time I click something, it can be inside the VFB or a max setting. This has been an issue for a long time but in the past it was a composite map in the material editor, as soon as I removed it from the editor(but still in the scene) the VFB would behave, nothing seems to matter now.

Which Max version? Does it improve if you switch from Nitrous to other viewports?

                  Best regards,
                  Vlado

                    sorry for the delay
it's max 2014 and using nitrous Direct 3D 11. I changed it to Direct 3D 9 it has been stable so far.

did you import something from an old scene, or Evermotion stuff?
