  • Vray RT problems with my raided videos cards

I am running Asus Geforce GTX 680 dual raided cards. For some reason my procedural textures like to not show up and the displacement option doesn't work. If I turn on CPU it they work though. Anyone else having this problem? Ironically I tried the senses on older computers running AMD video cards and the RT CUDA works perfectly..

Here are some image examples, first is Bucket render, second is CPU RT and the last is CUDA RT. I set the procedural noise texture to explicit map channel and it shows up that way. But as you noticed the reflection have black showing up.

      Hello there,

Please have in mind that Vray RT works better if both cards are not connected in SLI mode.
Please disconnect them and try to run the same test.

There are limitations for procedural textures on the GPU although we are working to fix them bit by bit. Displacement is not supported on the GPU either.

Most likely V-Ray fell back to the CPU mode. AMD video cards do not support CUDA.
