  • Refraction in RT but not normal rendering

    Hi,

this is kind of urgent and I hope someone will be able to help me, cause I am totally not figuring it out.

I have a refractive object, properly lit, with a green tint.
The refraction properly renders in RT but it looks totally black in a normal rendering.
I dont rememebr fidgeting with the settings but maybe I overlooked something.

Please see the screenshot and the zipped scene attached.

Thank you very much for any advice.

Took a look. Your mat was giving me the same problems. So I just recreated it from scratch just copying all the settings and it works fine.
Give it a try, I will try upload scene shortly. Just a little hectic at the moment.

You are right! How strange...I dont remember doing something to that material that could disturb the rendering vs RT.
Well, it seems resolved, even though I am bewildered.

      Thanks!

Such issues usually happen if the material is created with earlier Vray version, and the only way to make them work is to recreate them.
