  • Vray Distrubtion bucket error

    hello everybody, can you help?

I am rendering a image over a network using Distributing rendering.

When the image come to render out its final pass I am getting this strange shade of buckets on the imageā€¦

It is not missing any textures as I have assets tracked the file and all our servers can see each directory.

I have tried it on another machine and I get the same result!

Any ideas??? Click image for larger version

use UNC paths instead of mapped drives
make sure each machine has same version of max and vray and service packs
make sure your decimal point on all machines are set to . (dot or point) and not to , (comma)

make sure all ies and hdri files are in correct location, these often get overlooked when checking maps

if all else fails calculate gi locally only and then from file do a DR render

if it still fails then copy all maps locally to each machine as a test, repath all maps local and then dr - just for a test
    Kind Regards,
    Morne
