We are creating an image of an interior scene. There are a number of vray ies spotlights in the celing that are the primary source of illumination. They cast the nice 'scallop' patterns on the walls. We like this. Our client, however, does not.
I had hoped that simply turning off the light shape would remove the detail from the light shaping on the walls, but it seems to have no effect. I also tried overiding the light shape with a point and a sphere, but it seems to make no difference.
Ideally, I don't want to change the lights radically as the post production on the image is nearing completion, and different lights will likely have a dramatic effect on the overall look of the render.
What am I doing wrong?
