could not obtain a license (0)

i am having trouble to get one of my renderslave to work.
i always get: could not obtain a license (0)
it can connect to the license server info page, but won´t render.

same license settings work fine on another machine.
what can i do to narrow down the problem ?

Make sure that you have typed the right IP-address / Computer name into "License Server" to the machine which holds the dongle:


Check also the connection port - by default is 30304 but if you are using another one make sure that it is typed correctly here.
If you have any firewalls , anti-virus, anti-spy-ware software which could block the port or connection to the Vray License server please ensure that they allow Vray to connect to its License Server.
