I've got a big problem with rendering Ornatrix animation.
Here our worflow : 3dsmax 2013, vray 2.40.03, Ornatrix (2.7 or 3.0, i've try both), splitting image in passes with Vanilla PassManager, rendering over network with deadline.
We are fighting against a hard bug for now some days looking like that :
I first look at Ornatrix side, and after few test, it seems that it is special modifier Ox_Hair_Clustering that is doing this bug. when off, it's all fine.
BUT, it is an essential modifier for hair look dev, so we're trying to pass over the bug.
I've report it on Ephere forum and still trying to move thing foward :

After many more trys, it looks like a GI bug on Ox_fur. Strange thing is that my reflect and GlobalIllum render element are bug too, all rest are fine.
I've try a lot a things to isolated it, but it randomly appears on different furry characters, different frames...
What does not change anything : frame size, background modelisation, Hair shader, draft DMC, no maps / point cache, low brute force...
I had some result while changing light cache parameters. While lowering subdiv i lose my bug, but when i have 'prod' subdiv bug is back. And sample size has an impact, but hard to tell witch one.
Finally, i've found a fix : in VrayHairMaterial, we must disable use cached GI. It increasing significantly render times (about +30-50%) but fix the bug ( until next one ).
Have you ever got any feedback on hard rendering with Ornatrix ?
How the hell Blur is doing ?
